Godtfred Rump was educated at the Royal Academy of Art in Copenhagen. Traveled and studied in Germany, Norway, Denmark, Austria and Italy. Became a Professor and a member of the Royal Academy of Art in Copenhagen. Exhibited at Charlottenborg, Paris, London, Copenhagen, Vienna and Rome.
